Seagate Backup Plus Portable 4 TB Review : More space than you’ll need

Seagate Backup Plus Portable 4 TB Review : More space than you’ll need
VERDICT:

Performance wise and Build quality wise, the Seagate Backup Plus Portable is average, however, the sleek modern design makes it quite appealing. Overall, the drive is a great buy given the beefy goodies that come with it.

Performance wise the drive is average as is the case with every portable drive. We saw peak sequential read speeds of around 135 MBps and write speeds of around 128 MBps. Random data from real world tests painted a slightly different picture with write speeds dropping way below other drives and we ran the same tests multiple times to confirm the same. Build quality is average as well, however, the sleek modern design helps quite a bit. Overall, the drive is a great buy given the beefy goodies that come along.

Performance wise and Build quality wise, the Seagate Backup Plus Portable is average, however, the sleek modern design makes it quite appealing.
