EVGA GTX 560Ti packs in a lot of accessories for a Crysis franchise fanboy. Performance wise is it better than all cards except the ZOTAC card as it is overclocked 50MHz lesser than the ZOTAC card. Pricing is expectedly higher than the ZOTAC card. If you are not much of the Crysis fan or do no want all the accessories provided go for ZOTAC card, else stick to this card.
Design and Build: The card comes in an all-black plastic shroud with a Crysis 2 design element embossed onto it. The build is quite sturdy. The two 6-pin power connectors are on the right hand side and there is an open section for air flow. But the closed shroud design might tend to heat up the card, as there is only one compact fan in the centre atop a heatsink beneath surrounded by the closed shroud.
Performance: The EVGA GTX 560Ti is the second best performing card here. The crown is held by ZOTAC GTX 560 Ti AMP Edition which is overclocked to 950MHz. Scores from EVGA are good enough to game comfortably at 1080p and in some games such as FarCry 2, STALKER: Call of Pripyat, Dirt 3 and Resident Evil 5, you can also game comfortably at 1920×1200. Our fear of the shroud design turned out to be true, with the card heating up to 83 degrees C on load. Although the temperature delta is at 36 degrees C which is much lower than the 47 degrees C observed on the ZOTAC card, we felt that a more open shroud would have got load temperatures even lower.
