ASUS ENGTX560 is a good card, and you get great frame rates at HD settings. You can also stretch beyond the 1080p setting in games such as FarCry2 and DIRT 3. Pricing is higher than the Galaxy GTX 560. If you can spend more, then it is ideal to go for a GTX 560Ti, as you get more raw power upfront.
Design and Build: The ASUS ENGTX560 is built of sturdy metal and the frame around the fans is quite strong. The fans are placed atop a heat sink. The red lines onto the dark brown metal makes the card look very attractive and the open frame design bundled with the heat pipes allow faster heat dissipation.
Performance: As seen from the graphs, the only competition to the ASUS ENGTX560 is from the GTX 560 Ti’s which was kind of expected as the number of stream processors is higher in the 560 Ti than the GTX 560. The ASUS card thanks to the factory overclock performed better than Galaxy GTX 560 in most benchmarks.IN STALKER: Call of Pripyat, Crysis Warhear and Crysis 2 benchmarks the ASUS card and HIS HD 6950 performed at par. Amongst all the cards, it has the lowest idle temperature and the delta is around 34 degrees C which is slightly higher than Galaxy’s 31 degrees which is again understandable owing to the overclock.
