Xiaomi has joined the list of smartphone makers who have announced their official UI skins based on the yet-to-be-announced Android 15. HyperOS 2 is here and offers several new features and a refreshed user experience along with the features of Android 15. Features such as a personalised lock screen, dynamic effects across the interface, and a 3D real-time weather system that simulates real atmospheric conditions, are coming with this software update.

Talking about the same, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said that it will be available for most eligible devices by December 2024. He shared a detailed timeline for the rollout. The rollout is going to happen in phases, first in November and then for other devices by December.
