The Acer Swift GO 14 makes its way on this list because of its value-for-money approach. Featuring a long list of high performance components like an Intel Core 5 125H processor with Arc Graphics, fast 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB SSD, the Swift GO 14 is one of Acer’s best attempts at making an AI-enabled business laptop. The feature list doesn’t stop there as the laptop gets a lightweight chassis bringing the device’s weight down to just 1.32kg. On top of that a 14-inch 2.8K OLED works as an amazing display, it doesn’t matter if you want to create spreadsheets or showcase a presentation.

Portability and performance come together in the ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED. An AI-powered business laptop which is 1cm thick and weighs under 1kg. Despite its size, the ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED includes all the essentials including a powerful yet power efficient Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB SSD and plethora of Input-output ports like HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A port and USB Type-C ports.

I recently tested the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and it definitely deserves to be on this list. Primarily because of the amazing build quality it has and the type of performance it delivers. The laptop comes with an amazing 14-inch OLED display which is decently colour accurate and also quite bright. I also liked the laptop’s distinct keyboard as it comes with a 1.5mm key travel, which is one of the best in the segment. And moreover, you will also find a variety of ports on the laptop including two thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-A port, and an HDMI 2.1 port.

Another thin and light AI-business laptop on this list is the MSI Prestige 13. And the main reason why I’d recommend it over the rest is Wi-Fi 7, which is the latest wireless connectivity standard and hence works better than Wi-Fi 6. In other aspects, the laptop is pretty standard as well, as far as AI-enabled business laptops in 2024 are concerned. It features an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor infused with a dedicated NPU and Arc Graphics. The former supports AI software frameworks like OpenVINO, directML etc and the latter has XeSS which improves in-game performance without need of additional hardware.

It also features a 360-degree hinge, allowing the laptop to be used in either tend mode or as a tablet. And the included touch screen also facilitates the same. In terms of specs, the HP Spectre x360 14 comes with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The 14-inch OLED touch panel is also highly accurate and very bright as well. The laptop also has a haptic touchpad, which is a first for a thin and light Windows laptop in this segment.

I would recommend the M3 Pro 14-inch MacBook Pro over the normal M3 MacBook Air because of two reasons. Better thermal performance, because of the active cooling system on the MacBook Pro and more essential ports like an SD card slot and an HDMI port. With that said, the 14-inch MacBook Pro offers excellent battery life, a great keyboard and haptic touchpad combo and a very powerful M3 Pro SoC. The laptop is suitable for every kind of professional grade task, be it coding, creating or editing documents, making or presenting a presentation and even gaming. The specific 14-inch MacBook Pro variant I am talking about comes with 18GB LPDDR5 unified memory and 1TB SSD. Both of which should be enough for business use cases.
