This is the Tt esports Poseidon, a fully mechanical gaming keyboard with blue backlighting that costs Rs. 4,800 (excluding taxes).
Here we have the back of the box which says a lot of things, but the things that you would want to know are: N-Key rollover support, 4 levels of backlight illumination, key life expectancy of 50-million keystrokes per key and of course the Windows key disable feature.
The boxed contents include a warranty card, a detailed instruction manual and finally the keyboard itself.
The Poseidon Illuminated has laser etched key caps with the letters visible very well even when the backlight is off. They’ve also included a Windows disable switch at the upper right corner of the keyboard that disables the Windows key – very helpful while gaming.
The stands below the Poseidon raise it to a standard comfortable height. You can also see that this keyboard has a small footprint and can easily be used on most desks as it doesn’t take much space.
Ooh… We have Cherry MX Blue key switches on the Poseidon so get ready for intense clickety clack sessions. Each of the keys on the Poseidon are individually illuminated with the help of LEDs so you get a uniform illumination across the keyboard.
You might have not seen this on many keyboards but they’ve also included routing areas for the attached cable at the back of the keyboard using which you can easily make the cable on this keyboard come out from the left, the right or from the centre.
The Poseidon has very bright LEDs and the light is visible very well even during day time. If you don’t want the keyboard to light up, you can decrease its brightness until the lights are shut.
Let there be light! This is how the Poseidon looks like in the dark and you can consider this keyboard if you are someone who likes to work or play at night. With four brightness levels, you can use the Poseidon according to the brightness level that suits you the best.
