Not only it aims to convert the application as a platform featuring third party app support, it is also building an ecosystem around it. UCWeb made a surprise announcement this week by rolling out a desktop version of its popular UC Browser. UCWeb is quite popular on the mobile platform whereas the desktop segment is dominated by the likes of Firefox Mozilla and Google Chrome. Microsoft aims to recapture its market share with its new Spartan browser (phases out Internet Explorer). It'll be interesting how does the UC browser survive the competition. Desire is an important series for HTC which ensures the company has a strong presence in the budget and mid-range segments. The latest Desire 626G+ comes with 720p 5.5-inch screen. The phone is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa-core processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 32GB via a microSD card. Even as we await the launch of One M9 in India, HTC has already launched a new variant of its flagship in China. Called the One M9+, the new HTC phone features a 5.2-inch display and MediaTek processor along with 2GB of RAM. So far there's no word on whether the phone will launch in India or not. Microsoft launched its Lumia 640 and 640XL smartphones in India. The new smartphones are priced at Rs. Rs. 11,999 and Rs. Rs. 15,799 respectively. While the Lumia 640 is exclusive to Flipkart, the 640XL is available across channels.Owy.dpuf
