The Kudos RS is a gaming mouse from SpeedLink, a company based in Germany. We’ve previously seen their Decus gaming mouse. The box of the mouse is quite flashy and mentions a lot of features of the mouse.
The Kudos RS features a 5700 DPI laser sensor, onboard memory for storing upto a maximum of five profiles, 7 programmable buttons, adjustable polling rate, DPI switch and a 4-directional scroll wheel.
The box has a see through window that provides a glimpse of the Kudos RS.
Apart from the mouse itself, the box of the mouse includes six weights in a small tray-like box, extra feet for the mouse with 3M backing sticker, a quick install guide and a driver Disc.
The bottom of the mouse features PTFE feet. A 5700 DPI laser sensor is placed at the centre. The length of the cable used for the Kudos RS is 1.8 metres and it’s not braided
Since you can customise the weight of the SpeedLink Kudos RS, the bottom of the mouse has a small push-to-pop-open button which opens the weight adjustment area of the mouse. Each of the weights are 6 grams and there are a total of six included weights which you can add to the Kudos RS.
The Kudos RS is designed for right-handed people and it has rubber strips on both the sides which adds grip to the mouse. The left-side of the mouse also has two buttons for backward and forward operations by default but they can be configured as well.
As seen here, the right-side has a rubber strip to add more grip. The body of the mouse is made purely of plastic and the size of the whole mouse is quite big.
The Kudos RS features 7 programmable buttons including the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel supports tilt too. The mouse has a DPI switching button at the centre with another button to switch profiles. There are five status indication LED’s at the centre as well.
