Samsung has introduced a new “S bike mode” feature on the Galaxy J3, which is an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) mode integrated to the smartphone. It is activated using an NFC tag, which users can attach to their two wheelers. Once activated, once you receive calls while riding a bike, callers will be greeted with a pre-recorded message in one of 14 Indian languages. In case of emergency, callers can bypass the IVR by pressing 1.
The phone features a Super AMOLED display with 720p HD resolution. Unfortunately, under direct sunlight, we were not able to view anything. On top of that, the display is a fingerprint magnet. We have certainly seen better displays from Samsung in the past.
Samsung J3 has a signature smartphone design with two capacitive navigation buttons and a physical home button.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 has a faux leather back and metal rails on the side. It has a removable back and sports a 2600mAh removable battery inside. It has dual-SIM slots and offers a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 comes with an 8MP rear camera, which is aided by a single LED flash. At the front, the phone sports a 5MP camera.
