The Panasonic Eluga Arc was a very good looking smartphone and Panasonic is wasting no time in bringing the Eluga Arc 2. It's yet another good looking device, with an all metal and glass build. It is priced at Rs. 12,290 and will be available via all offline retail channels. While we will be reviewing the phone in the coming months, here is a quick look of the newly launched smartphone.
The Eluga Arc 2 also has a slight update in hardware. Here are some key specifications.
The phone looks quite good, but just like the Arc, the Arc 2 also has thick bezels surrounding the display, which hinders the design. Also, the display still features a 1280 x 720p resolution.
The display, however, looks quite bright and vibrant and while Panasonic claims that it have improved sunlight legibility, we won’t comment on that just yet.
The phone has a metal and glass construction, which feels quite premium. It has a regular microUSB port. Panasonic claims that the 2450mAh battery will be able to last day’s worth of usage.
The power button and volume rocker are situated on the right side of the display, and they are tactile. On the left side of the phone, there are the SIM card slots as well as the microSD card slot.
The back has 2.5D curved Asahi dragon trail glass. Gone is the ergonomic curved back, and in its place, the Arc 2 features a flatter design. On the back, there is an 8MP camera which is aided by a single LED flash.
