The Oppo F3 is the company’s newest smartphone and brings the dual-rear camera setup found on the F3 Plus, to a smaller snug form factor. So, you get a 16MP front camera to take your standard selfies while the other 8MP camera sports a wide angle lens to take group selfies. Besides the dual rear camera setup, you also get a bunch of other features. Here’s a look at some of them.
Double the fun
The OPPO F3 boasts a dual front camera setup, that consists of a 16MP camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera. The 16MP camera has got your solo selfies covered whereas the 8MP one takes group selfies. In fact, the double-view selfie camera offers twice the standard view, helping your gang can fit into the frame without squeezing in. Switching between the 2 cameras is as simple as tapping the icon right next to the shutter. Lastly, you have cool new modes/filters, helping you up your selfie game, like the GIF mode (capture and share some GIFs), Double Exposure mode (click and combine two photos on the go) and more.
All about that design
The OPPO F3 comes with a sturdy metallic build that gives it quite a premium look and feel. This, combined with the 2.5D glass ensures that the device looks stylish and elegant. At the back are two thin metal bands that catch the light and give the device a slight glimmer. The phone is not only about looks though — the rounded edges of the OPPO F3 ensure that you don’t feel uncomfortable when holding the phone, without sacrificing on grip. The smaller 5.5-inch display also makes the OPPO F3 easier to hold and use with one hand.
Thin yet strong display
The Oppo F3 comes with a 5.5-inch display as compared to the 6-inch display used by the OPPO F3 Plus. The device also comes with a Full HD in-cell display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. This technology not only makes the display crisp bright enough to see in sunlight, but also makes it thin. The last thing you would want is to crack that beautiful display. To ensure that doesn’t happen, OPPO has equipped it with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is the latest version of Corning range of toughened glass.
Powerful specs
The OPPO F3 is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core MT6750T processor with 4GB of RAM. It comes with ColorOS 3.0, which is based on Android Marshmallow. Below the display is a solid state home button, which doubles as the fingerprint sensor. Further, it also offers 64GB of storage to to ensure that you’ll have plenty of space to store your selfies. In case that isn’t enough you can always add a microSD card slot and expand storage by up to 128GB. To ensure that you can keep clicking selfies throughout the day, the F3 is equipped with a 3200mAH battery.
Two SIMS and a microSD card slot
Most manufacturers these days offer a hybrid SIM slot that gives users the option between a microSD card or a second SIM. OPPO sticks to the good old traditions and offers a dual SIM card slot and a separate microSD card slot. So you will be able to use both the SIM cards and expand storage at the same time.
Double all the way
If you are using two SIM cards, chances are that you might want to use two separate accounts for some apps like WhatsApp. However, these apps usually do not allow you to add two accounts into the same app. Thankfully, OPPO has figured out a way for you to clone an app, and use two separate accounts for the same service. Now you will be able to have one WhatsApp account for your personal life, and another for work.
