Notion Ink was one of the first manufacturers to bring Windows-powered 2-in-1 hybrid laptops to the masses. Today, the company showcased its third product, called Notion Ink Able. The Notion Ink Able is a 10.1-inch tablet converting to a normal laptop when attached to a keyboard dock. The Notion Ink Able offers better specifications than Cain, along with a more robust design. Here's taking a look at the latest 2-in-1 hybrid from Notion Ink.

Notion Ink still uses the magnetic pogo pin hinge, but the company has improved the interlocking mechanism from its last generation Cain. The base hinge of the keyboard is now made out of metal, and has two larger grooves to incorporate the main tablet and keep it steady.
Last time, the top of the tablet featured speakers. This time, the power and volume rocker are at the top. Notion Ink has also improved the button quality, and they are now more tactile.
The Notion Ink Able features all the essential ports that one might need, all arranged to the left of the tablet. There is a microSD card slot, which can take up to 128GB of storage. The tablet also houses a 3G SIM slot, USB 3.0, microUSB, USB 2.0, micro-HDMI and 3.5mm headphone ports.
The speakers have now been moved to the side, and the two stereo speakers lie to the right side of the tablet. This somewhat defeats the purpose of stereo speakers, although they sound decently loud.
Notion Ink has also made some changes to the keyboard, and the arrow keys are now arranged better than the last generation hybrid, Cain. The keyboard dock now also incorporates a touchpad lock and indicator LEDs for the touchpad lock and Caps lock.
The keyboard dock has been refreshed, and like the tablet, gets a full metal overhaul. The touchpad now lives inside a chamfered casing, offering decent response as well as supporting all Windows 10 gestures.
