Micromax launched the Canvas 5 in India today, for Rs. 11,999. The phone features 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel Samsung 3M2 image sensor with Phase Detection autofocus, and more. We had the chance to use the phone for a while, at its launch. Here's taking a quick look at the Micromax Canvas 5.
The phone features a 5MP front camera, which is aided by a single LED flash.
Micromax has opted for on-screen navigation keys for this phone, and the display itself is quite reflective. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The entire phone gets a metal band around its edges, very similar to the Yu Yuphoria. The right side of the phone has both the power button and the volume rocker.
The back of the phone is removable, and has a faux leather look which adds to the grip.
The Micromax Canvas 5 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash. It uses a Samsung 3M2 image sensor, and features Phase Detection autofocus.
