Lenovo has launched the much anticipated Vibe K5 Note in India, with prices starting at Rs. 11,999. The other variant of the phone is priced at Rs. 13,499, and the device will be available exclusively via Flipkart. While we will be doing a full review of the phone soon, here is a quick look at what it offers.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features an interesting set of hardware. Here are some of the key components.
The three navigation keys of the phone reside below the display and are not illuminated, which makes using it in dark places slightly cumbersome. As for the display, it seems adequately bright, but the best bit is that the Vibe K5 Note now features an almost stock-like Android interface.
The phone has a very clean and simple candybar design. Above the display, the phone has an 8MP front-facing camera.
At the bottom of the phone, there is a normal microUSB port along with the primary microphone. Unlike many other phones in the sub-15K category, the Vibe K5 Note does not feature a metal build but uses slightly polished edges.
The build of the phone seems decent on initial inspection. Lenovo has added a metallic finish to it, but it does not feel too premium.
From the back, the design of the phone looks quite similar to Lenovo’s Vibe P1 smartphone launched last year. However, the Vibe P1 had its fingerprint scanner on the front.
The 13MP rear camera is supported by a dual-LED flash system and features phase detection autofocus.
