The Lenovo K6 Power is newest addition to lenovo's budget friendly “K series” smartphone range. It offers competitive specs, combined within an ergonomic body. As the name suggests, it’s main attribute is the battery and the 4000mAh battery on the phone seems quite promising.
Before we move onto the different attributes of the device, here is a quick rundown of the key specifications:
The display has decent viewing angles and 1080p resolution, which is not new but rare on 5-inch devices at this price. Although, on initial impressions we found the display to be a little dim.
Like most devices in the sub-10k smartphone range, the K6 power also has capacitive navigation keys, which are sadly, not backlit.
From the back, the phone looks very similar to the Redmi Note 3, with its arrangement of the camera, flash and the fingerprint scanner being identical.
At the bottom of the phone are a set of stereo speakers. Lenovo has also bundled Dolby Atmos software with the phone.
The phone’s USP, however, is its battery. It features a 4000mAh battery, which Lenovo claims will provide more than 12 hours of video playback. The software also has some new power modes such as the “ultimate power saver” mode, which disables everything except calling and messaging.
The Lenovo K6 Power has a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor, which was recently seen on the Gionne S6 Pro. At the front, the device has an 8MP camera.
