The recently launched the LeEco Le2 turned out to be the best phone in the sub-15k smartphone category. It replaces the well received Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, beating it by a notch. While our review of the LeEco Le 2 is already up, here's a quick look at how the phone compares against its prime competitors in the price bracket on pure synthetic benchmarks. The LeEco Le 2, here, takes on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Yu Yunicorn, along with the Samsung Galaxy J5.

It seems like, while the Le 2 is an overall better phone compared to Redmi Note 3, the performance of the two phones is quite close. However, every other subsequent smartphone has a long ground to cover. Honorable mention goes to the Lenovo Zuk Z1, which is running on ancient Snapdragon 801 SoC from the OnePlus One era and is still clicking into higher gears with ease.
