Zopo has just announced its new flagship, the Speed 8, at MWC 2016. This is the first phone to feature the latest MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, which is also the first mobile SoC to feature 10 processing cores.
The design of the phone is reminiscent of the Speed 7 Plus, but the brushed metal look has been replaced by a matte finish at the back. Before we move further, here are the main specification of this phone:
Even with a 5.5-inch display, the phone is compact enough to be used with one hand. Above the display, there is the front-facing 8MP selfie camera. It is aided by a single LED flash for night-time selfies.
The power key and the volume rocker of the phone are located on the right edge. The SIM tray resides on the left side of the phone.
The phone has a metal frame around its sides. The Zopo Speed 8 also uses a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. The phone is 9.8mm thick.
At the back, the Zopo Speed 8 has a 21MP rear camera aided by a dual-LED flash system. The phone is also equipped with a fingerprint sensor placed below the rear camera.
We saw the Zopo Speed 8 in two different back colours — white and black. Both, however, had a matte finish to them.
Here is the phone on AnTuTu Benchmark v6.0.1.
