After setting up an office in Hyderabad, Facebook has opened its second office in India at the One BKC in Mumbai. The office is on the seventh floor of the commercial tower.

The Facebook wall at the new office is one of the best things here and an interesting way to communicate, express and exchange ideas. If you happen to visit the office, you should definitely ‘post’ your thoughts on this huge Facebook wall to share it with everyone.

The work area also has an in-office navigator put up, just in case you get lost or need directions to a certain part of the office. Crazy, ain’t it?

The meeting rooms have the most quirkiest names ever. All the rooms have an element in the name that resembles Mumbai, be it Vada Pao, Pina Colaba, Nariman Pint, Malad Whisky or FB Bus Cont’d.

The meeting rooms not only have cool names but also strike a perfect balance between having a formal meeting room and not leaving it too dull or boring either.

‘Be bold’, ‘Be open’, ‘Build social value’, ‘Focus on Impact’, are some of the many small pieces of advice that you will see hung from the ceiling in various parts of the office, to help you get rid of dull days and morning blues.

The workspace have a number of height-adjustable desks and does away with the traditional cubicle arrangement. Instead, it is an all-open working space with no partitions within the work area, except for conference rooms.

There are a number of micro-kitchens throughout the office along with one main cafeteria, a perfect place for catching up or to unwind between work sessions.

Speaking of unwinding during long working sessions, there’s also a room that has a real life Angry Bird game setup that keeps one away from staring at those computer screens during small breaks.

The use of vibrant colours throughout the office, props and hangings in this office brings the entire space alive, making it an interesting and a lively place to work.
