Apple has finally announced the smaller iPhone SE. The specification sheet of the iPhone SE is similar to the iPhone 6s, minus the 3D Touch display. Additionally, it marks the return of a 4-inch form factor on the iPhone, after over two years. The phone will launched next month, and this is how it looks, across various angles.

The iPhone SE has a strikingly similar design to the iPhone 5s. The phone has a metal build, and has the same button layout as the iPhone 5s. It is also just a gram heavier than the iPhone 5s. Interestingly, the Apple iPhone 5s is now discontinued.

The Apple iPhone SE features a 4-inch display with 1136x640-pixel resolution. This is an LCD display, and is LED-backlit.

At the bottom, the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, the lighting connector port and the stereo speaker setup.

Apple is also adding fingerprint lock to the Notes app, which is one of the most used app on iOS.

The Apple iPhone SE gets the same 12MP iSight camera that Apple used on the iPhone 6s. The camera supports Live Photos, and 4K recording.

Apple has also announced the latest version of iOS with the new phone, iOS 9.3. The update is also available for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the current iPad lineup. The performance on the iPhone SE is handled by the Apple A9, which was introduced on the Apple iPhone 6s.
