Huawei launched the Mate S at its IFA event yesterday. The phone will come in three different versions — standard, premium and luxury. The Huawei Mate S is the first smartphone to come with Force Touch technology, and we couldn’t wait to try it out.
The three devices come with metal unibody design, and share most specifications with each other. SoC: 64-bit HiSilicon Kirin 935 octa-core Screen: 5.5-inch FHD RAM: 3GB Camera: 13MP and 8MP OS: Android 5.1
The Premium version of the phone comes with 64GB of internal memory. All three Mate S devices come with 2.5D curved glass protection, along with Smart Knuckle 2.0 technology.
The rear of the device has a 13MP camera and dual-LED flash. Just below the camera is the fingerprint sensor.
The 8MP camera is located on top of the device, next to the speaker grille.
The bottom of the Mate S has a micro-USB port, flanked by two speaker grills.
The right edge of the device has the volume rocker and the power button.
The left edge is bare, except for the SIM card slot.
The top of the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack along with a noise-cancellation microphone.
The Standard version of the Mate S comes with 32GB of internal memory.
The Luxury version of the phone comes with 128GB of internal memory, along with Super AMOLED FHD display. It features Force Touch technology.
