HTC today launched the Desire 820, the first ever smartphone running on a 64-bit based SoC by Qualcomm. The Desire 820 feels like an upgrade for the 816 with a slight uplift in design. Here is a quick look at the smartphone that will be available by the first week of November.
The back has a glossy finish just like the Desire 816 but the new Double Shot design brings in a nice colour accent which makes the design much more attractive
The Desire 820 will come with HTC's patented BoomSound speaker technology. The sound quality is quite good and very refined for a pair of smartphone speakers.
At the back there is a 13MP camera with and LED flash which again has the coloured accent. The camera quality is quite good and features HTC's Zoe feature as well
The bottom houses the microUSB port
The volume rocker and power keys are on the right edge and are quite comfortable to use
