Along with the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact, Sony also announced its two new wearable devices, the SmartBand Talk and Smartwatch 3, which will be coming to India in December. Here is a quick look at both the devices.
The SmartBand Talk comes with an E-Ink display. It does not have a touchscreen, but you can use the inbuilt mic to make calls and use the keys to open the various features.
The new SmartBand has a similar rubberised band which is attached to the main body that consists of the display, volume keys, a menu key and a bunch of sensors on the inside.
There a shiny Sony logo on the clasp locking mechanism, just like the old Smartband.
The new Smartwatch 3 looks quite similar to its predecessor but now runs on Android Wear.
There is a single chromed up key on the right side which acts as the home button for the watch.
Just like other smartwatches, Sony's new SmartWatch 3 comes with a number of watch faces and of course all the features of Android Wear.
The lock mechanism looks good and has a foldable and adjustable clasp.
The display looks pretty sharp, but overall the design of the SmartWatch 3 is not so appealing. It looks more like a sports watch rather than a slick looking device on your wrist.
