Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 in an event held last week and former is expected to launch in India tomorrow. Here's a look at some of the interesting features of both these flagship devices from Samsung. Let's start with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and then move to the Galaxy Note 5.
Dual-edge:
Samsung has always been one step ahead of the competition with their edged displays. You can use the dual edge display to assign up to 5 apps and contacts for quick access by simply swiping inwards from the edge.
Bigger Curved Display:
Like it's predecessor, Galaxy S6 Edge, the device comes with a Quad HD Super AMOLED display but with bigger size and curves. The curves let you store important information for quick access.
Live YouTube Broadcasting:
With Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung has introduced the native support for live YouTube streaming. This means anyone would be able to share their lives with the rest of the world instantly.
Video Stabilization:
The latest device from Samsung comes with Digital Video Image Stabilization along with Optical Image Stabilization. This makes sure that you don’t end up with out-of-focus videos while you’re recording them using the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
Now, let's take a look at the Galaxy Note 5.
S-Pen Air Command:
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has an all new and improved S-Pen that comes with improved Air Command. As soon as you will bring out the S-Pen, Note 5’s screen will automatically show the Air Command menu to you. In addition to default commands, you can also add custom shortcuts to Air Command.
Quick Charging:
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes with a non-removal battery, but it also supports quick charging. This support is available for both wired and wireless charging.
Taking notes:
Suppose you want to take a quick notes, but don’t want to unlock the Note 5. Don’t worry, now you can use the S-Pen directly without turning on the screen. Other than this, you can also capture the screenshot of a full webpage as a single image.
Improved One-handed Use:
If you are thinking that Note 5 might be too big to use, then don’t worry. It comes with improved one-handed usability options which will make it easier for you to use the phablet and make inputs with just one hand. The good thing is that if you choose to reduce the size of the any of supported apps, then they will stay the same way until you go to Settings and change it back to actual size.
