We are a few hours away from Apple’s big event. While we are pretty sure that Apple is going to announce the new iPhone, rumors suggest that there would be more than two devices this time and we expect a few new products as well. Here is everything (we think) Apple will be announcing today.
Apple iPhone X
The Apple iPhone X is the likely name given to the next gen or the anniversary edition iPhone. It is expected that Apple will be taking a big leap in terms of design with the iPhone X. The most talked about rumour is that Apple will finally shift to OLED and bezel-less display.
Apple iPhone X
New Design
The Apple iPhone X is supposed to set a new design standard as well. From the leaked images and renders we expect the phone to look similar to the new Essential phone, with minimal bezels.
Apple iPhone X
No Touch id
Besides the new design, it is expected that Apple may also ditch the renowned Touch ID and that means it will have a in-display fingerprint scanner or some other biometric identification technology. Rumours say Apple may got for a face recognition only.
Apple iPhone X
Wireless charging
The new iPhone X is expected to have a ceramic back, enabling the phone to offer wireless charging as well. Samsung has had wireless charging on its phones for a few years now, so Apple's playing catch up on this one.
Apple iPhone X
Faster SoC
A faster SoC is definitely something the new iPhone will get. Rumors suggest that the iPhone X will have an A11 chip, offering 6 cores, which won't be packed in clusters but will be independently addressable.

Apple iPhone X
$1000 price tag
Rumors suggest that the iPhone X won’t be cheap and if rumors are true, expect to shell out more than a $1000. By the time the phone lands in India, it's pricing may increase even more.
Apple iPhone 8 / 7s
Besides the big and powerful iPhone X, we are expecting that Apple will announce a new and updated version of the current gen flagships in the form of 7S and 7S Plus. They may even call these new devices the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
Apple iPhone 8 / 7s
New dual camera setup
While we don't expect a lot to change on the iPhone 7s/8, we can expect Apple to bump up the performance and give the phone some new set of optics like last time.
Apple Watch series 3
The Apple Watch Series 3 would be the obvious update in the wearable segment for Apple, considering that the company has already announced a ton of stuff in Watch OS 4, back at WWDC.
AR for iOS
One of the new features coming to iOS this year is AR Kit, which Apple showed at WWDC. It is expected that Apple will be including this or may announce new software partners to exploit the feature further.
Apple TV
Beside the iPhone and iOS updates, Apple is likely to announce the new Apple TV. It should be faster and should come with 4K HDR playback support.
One more thing
While there is no news about Apple launching a new MacBook, but we are hopeful that the Macbook Air may be retired after serving us for more than 7 years. Will Apple finally sell a truly upgraded and new MacBook Air?
