The second day of the cosplay contest at the Mumbai Comic Con saw impressive and mind-boggling costumes made by the geeks who paid serious attention to detail. The contest was judged by professional Japanese cosplayers Miya and Shiguma. We look into the best ones among the contestants.
Piccolo and Gohan looking intense, while Poison Ivy gracefully ignores everyone.
This batch of contestants belong to the DC universe.
Super-Baby is reported to be the youngest cosplayer ever. They did not mention whether he is the youngest in all of Comic Con around the world or just the Mumbai edition.
Doctor Octopus' tentacles were quite a craft, and Ronan from Guardians of the Galaxy was equally impressive.
Not sure if Chacha Chaudhry is smarter or Dexter (the one in the middle is supposedly Dexter).
Rocket Raccoon going 'Oh yeah" for obvious reasons. L from Death Note was in full character when he entered bare-footed.
Among the best cosplayers of the day from the Naruto universe.
Captain Titus of the Ultramarines from the popular game Warhammer 40K. This isn't a figurine or a statue, there is a person inside that mind-boggling suit.
As the end neared, Miya and Shiguma took the stage to announce the winners for different categories and the lucky winner going to Oz Comic Con. They were really happy to see cosplayers putting so much effort into their costumes.
The audience, blown away by stage acts and costumes, were quite convinced on who won the day's contest and surely you are too.
If this guy looks unfamiliar from the previous slides, it is because he was inside that sensational suit of Captain Titus. He truly deserves to head to the Oz Comic Con next year, and his happiness is quite evident from the picture here.
