Apacer brought the big guns out at Computex 2014 by showcasing a whole host of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB RAM modules that they claim is the fastest in the world. And an SSD running in a block of ice. Cool eh?
Is that a RAM disk we see? Hmm. Apacer, interesting stuff. Show us more.
Apacer showcases what it claims is the world's fastest 8GB RAM module running at an insane clock frequency.
According to Apacer, the world's fastest 8GB DDR3 RAM module is clocked at 3450 MHz. Woot!
If that wasn't enough, Apacer's 16GB RAM kit -- claimed to be the fastest in the world -- is clocked at 3300 MHz. Enough to melt the board? Hmm...
Here you can see the rig that has Apacer's 32GB RAM module, claimed to be the fastest in the world -- no prizes for guessing its clock frequency.
As per information Apacer revealed, the 32GB RAM module is clocked at 3100 MHz. Better not mention it to your PC / laptop's RAM module, for the fear of it suffering an inferiority complex.
Just when we thought we had seen it all, we came upon this Apacer exhibit. Is that an SSD we see? Inside a block of ice? Seriously?!
Now, as hard is it to wrap your head around the concept, one fails to understand just why Apacer would put a fully-functional SSD inside a block of ice? Beats us.
