The Asus Zenfone 2 (Snapdragon 410) and Zenfone Selfie are two value-for-money phones that aim to offer solid performance.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor at 1.2GHz, with 2GB of RAM.
The screen is a 5-in multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels.
The Zenfone 2 houses a 12 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front camera, both capable of recording videos at 1920x1080 pixels.
The back has a curved edge brushed metal finish, with the volume rocker placed right beneath the camera.
The Zenfone logo appears right above the speaker grille at the back of the phone.
The bottom end of the screen houses the return, home and multitasking buttons, just above a thin brushed metal strip.
We don't know the price, but we expect this variant of the Asus Zenfone 2 to be priced below Rs. 10,000.
The Asus Zenfone Selfie looks similar to the Zenfone 2, except for the 13-megapixel front-facing camera: the main feature of the phone, that also records full HD videos at 1920x1080 pixels
It is powered by a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor running at 1.5GHz, and 2GB of RAM
Despite the large 5.5" full HD IPS display at 1920x1080 pixels, the phone retains the slim form thanks to no buttons on either side of the phone
The Zenfone Selfie features a "silky" smooth back, and is available in three additional colours: pink, blue and white
The bottom end of the back, apart from the material, looks almost the same as that of the Zenfone 2
The back houses a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and the volume rocker, along with the Asus and Zenfone logos.
The top of the phone has a headphone port and the lock/power button, the same as the Zenfone 2.
The phone has two compatible covers: 'Swing' and 'MyView', that Asus claims will help users take better selfie shots.
