In this big and fast moving world where everything is connected, a great deal of critical, sensitive data is handled by your mobile device. Needless to say, smartphones aren't safe when it come to protecting privacy, against potential threats. While there are many privacy apps out there, Leo Privacy is the one you should look for. Here is an overview of Leo Privacy, to get you started.
As you start the app, instead of landing you directly to a login page, the app shows its three main features — Privacy Scanning, Anti-Theft and Anti-Harassment. There is one other main feature here, WiFi Security, which you will be able to use from the dashboard inside the app.
Before you begin, the app asks you to set up a pattern lock or a pin code. You are then asked to answer a security question for a two-step security.
This is the dashboard of the Leo Privacy app. It shows you the current privacy status and four of the main features mentioned earlier.
App Lock
Did you know that apps can be used as trojan horses to snoop on your private data? The App Lock feature will help you keep your private data secure by putting a lock on them.
WiFi Security
Leo Privacy uses a multi-mode compound algorithm to analyse your WiFi security. It auto-detects WiFi backstage, and provides security. It is particularly helpful at public WiFi hotspots.
Harras Inter (Anti-Harassment)
Nobody likes phishing calls, and most phones don’t support caller blacklist features by default. The Anti-Harassment feature is really useful in such situations.
Anti-theft
The Anti-theft feature needs to be activated separately, and lets you locate your phone in case it gets stolen or lost. You can remotely lock all apps, prevent private data leakage and set an alarm remotely.
Another great feature in Leo Privacy is Safe Box, via which you can lock your personal images and videos using a password. You can also include SMS and call logs within your Safe Box.
Besides that, the app also has a data monitor and a battery usage monitor, which will inform you about apps that secretly use your battery or data in the background.
