The Fire TV! Now we know that it hasn't been launched in India and it will be quite some time before that can happen but that shouldn't stop us from taking a peek. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8064 which has a quad core Krait 300 as the processor and an Adrena 320 for the GPU. It runs on FireOS3 and has 2 GB os DDR2 memory to run high-performance games. All of this hardware helps the device to output content at 1080p/60 FPS.

The sides and the rear of the packaging for all those who like to see them. There's nothing special going on here, move onto the next slide!

We unbox the product and the first thing we get to see is the User Manual for the Fire TV. But there is something peeking from underneath...

The Fire TV remote doubles up as a mini game controller for some of the games you get to purchase in the app store. The topmost button activates the voice instructions so you can talk to your Fire TV and tell it what you wish to watch. The interface of the remote is otherwise quite simple, if you've used an Android device before then it doesn't get any easier.

To the left of the remote we have the power adaptor. And that's about it. You need to get an HDMI cable separately to hook it up to your TV.

The base of the Fire TV has a matte finish like the top and sports no rubber pads or ventilation holes. The front and sides are all glossy with one LED on the front which indicates whether the device is powered or not.

The Fire TV is quite compact as you'd have noticed in the previous slide. Here is a scale for measure, the device measures 115 x 115 x 17.5mm in dimension.

That's it for the unboxing. The device is not officially available in India but you can always use a VPN service to get access to all of its features.
