There are those of us who’re happy with our standard PC cabinets. And there are those who go a little crazy with their case mods. This is for the latter ones.
Bioshock Mod
Mórocz Gergo, a fan of Bioshock from Hungary decided that he would show his love for the classic PC game with this amazing case mod. The mod does absolute justice to Bioshock’s art deco meets steampunk aesthetic and is simply amazing to look at.
Borderlands 2 case mod
Just as Gergo’s love for Bioshock inspired him to create his mod, so was modder ‘CrazyLefty’ motivated by Borderlands 2 to build this one. This mod takes pointers from the game’s unique cell-shaded, colourful industrial aesthetics and stands tall as one of the best ones we’ve ever seen.
Silent Workstation
Peter Brands’ Silent Workstation may just be from the future. The mod includes a liquid cooled PC housed inside a transparent desk and comprises of a transparent surface and UV-illuminated coolant to give it that 3000AD look.
Secret Base Mod
This one comes from Hiroto Ikeuchi, a Japanese designer with a fascination for mecha anime. This intricate, gorgeous PC case mod includes a tremendous amount of detail including tiny mechanics, tanks, flak cannons and even a rocket. Just don’t ask us how he uses it.
Wood PC Case Mod
In stark contrast to the intricacies of Ikeuchi’s mod, this one from modder ‘slipperyskip’ is beautiful because of its simplicity and stark, elegant nature. While this mod is for a nano PC and not a powerful gaming one, you would be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t love its looks.
