We are halfway through 2016 but some of the best PC games are yet to launch. Here, I list some of the best PC games to look forward to in 2016.
Overwatch
If Team Fortress 2 and Borderlands had a child it would most probably be Overwatch. The game launched in May, which means that it is still technically new. Overwatch is a lot of fun, with its diverse character roster and unique gameplay for each character. If you like online team-based multiplayer shooters, then you should definitely give this game a shot.
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: May 24 2016
Doom
Yes, Doom launched back in May, but two months is enough to call it new. The game is perfect for those who love FPS games, and we do recommend it if you haven’t played it yet. It’s pure old school shooting, with a variety of guns at your disposal. Did we mention there are challenges to keep you hooked and an online multiplayer mode too?
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: May 13 2016
No Man’s Sky
We (especially me) can’t believe that No Man’s Sky is just around the corner. The game has been delayed and considering how much it offers to a gamer, we were patiently waiting. For the uninitiated, No Man’s Sky is a first person open world game where you can explore the galaxy, reach random planets and quite literally do whatever you want. And this time, there are way too many things to explore!
Platforms: PlayStation 4, PC
Release date: August 9 2016
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Cybernetic super soldier Adam Jensen is back in Deus EX: Mankind Divided. As the name suggests, mankind is divided between those with augmentations and those without. There is tension in the lands and Adam Jensen is back to save the day.

Battlefield 1
Going back to its roots, Battlefield 1 takes you to the World War 1. According to the developers, the game has vast landscapes for the player to explore and true to the Battlefield genre, it will have numerous vehicles that can be used. In Battlefield 1, players can control several characters during the course of the campaign.

Dishonored 2
A sequel to one of the most popular games of 2012, Dishonored will hit the PC and consoles towards the end of 2016. This time players will have the option to control the protagonist from the first game, Corvo Attano, or a new playable character, Emily. Emily will apparently showcase a variety of new powers and movies. The E3 2016 demo of Dishonored 2 had us floored and we (again, especially me) can’t wait to get our hands on this game.
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: November 11 2016
Mafia 3
If there is one franchise that can give GTA a run for its money, it’s Mafia. The story driven nature of this open world game is very reminiscent of the Godfather movies, and the reason we are excited to play it.
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac OS
Release date: October 7 2016
Watch Dogs 2
Watch Dogs 1 was quite disappointing, but the concept was great. The developers are adding diversity to the gameplay this time, seemingly learning from their mistakes. Watch Dogs 2 is set in a fictionalised version of San Francisco. If the E3 2016 demo is anything to go by, the game looks absolutely stunning.
Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: November 15 2016
Gears of War 4
Gears of War 4 will be the first Gears game to come out of The Coalition, development studio. The E3 demo wasn’t the very intriguing, but we think the developers have a few tricks up their sleeves, which will be revealed closer to the launch of the game.

ReCore
ReCore is a third person action adventure game and showcases some interesting gameplay mechanics. The game is a new IP with an interesting take on a post apocalyptic world.

Call of Duty Infinite warfare
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare breaches the final frontier, space. The E3 2016 demo, showcased some really impressive gameplay mechanics. It is still a first person shooter at its core, but an exploding moon adds an interesting twist to the game.

Titanfall 2
A sequel to one of the best Xbox One launch titles, Titanfall 2 aims to cement the relationship between man and machine. This time there will be a single player campaign that will focus on the relationship between the Titan and its pilot. Honestly, we are looking forward to the new multiplayer modes that have been announced.
