The iPhone 6s is here, and with it, the age old question rises, how much better is it than the best of Android? The iPhone 6s is undoubtedly the best iPhone yet, but Android flagship smartphones still pack a lot of features which it lags. Here are seven specific aspects at which Apple's iPhone 6s lags behind its Android counterparts.
Screen resolution
While Apple may flaunt its Retina displays, all major Android flagships offer 2K resolution - like the LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6. Honourable mention goes to Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, for coming up with a 4K display.
OIS
While all major Android phones come with OIS, Apple includes it only on the 'Plus' version. This makes a big difference when taking videos, as framing becomes much easier.
Battery Life
iPhones are widely known for a smaller battery size which gets exhausted easily in one day. But, in the Android world, battery sizes are significantly bigger and perform better.
Base Storage Space
As mid-tier Android smartphones are shifting to 16GB internal storage, flagships like HTC One M9+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are shifting to 32GB. On the other hand, the iPhone 6s is still sticking to 16GB of base storage.
RAM
More RAM means faster multi-tasking. The iPhone 6s uses 2GB of RAM, while its Android counterparts like the OnePlus 2 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus offer almost double the capacity, at 4GB.
Waterproof and Water resistance
The latest Moto G (3rd gen) costs only 1/6th of the iPhone 6s, is water resistant, and Sony's Xperia Z lineup comes with IP68 waterproof certification. However, Apple has not been able to implement this technology on their phones.
No wireless charging
While many flagship Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S6 offer wireless charging, Apple has ignored the technology completely.
