The Spice M-67 3D is a feature-rich dual SIM phone with stereoscopic 3D capability. At a price tag of Rs. 4,299, it is disappointing to bear the shortcomings of a stereoscopic 3D display, which is marketed to be M-67’s main selling point. However, a better camera and multimedia performance could have justified its cause as a value for money phone. Given the price and ordinary performance, we definitely do not recommend it!
[RELATED_ARTICLE]The key features of the keypad layout include: master & slave dual SIM switching keys, where the master key controls the SIM one and the slave key controls the SIM two. Also, there is a video playback shortcut key located right next to the navigation control dial. The keypad incorporates flat indented keys with ridged spacings between each of them. The hard touch keys lack consistent tactile feedback, requiring the user to put extra effort to register the input successfully. Thus, affecting the typing speed and usability. The indented design really hinders comfortable keypad navigation. The overall build quality and design of the keypad is very ordinary.
The glossy black finish on the battery cover makes it vulnerable to smudges. The menu interface is neat and well organised. As always, Spice has ensured to bundle value added apps like: Spice Gang, Wapedia, Reuters, Free SMS, ibibo & security apps like: mobile tracker, remote wipe and privacy lock.

Performance
[RELATED_ARTICLE]The Spice M-67 3D had a decent outing in the signal reception and voice clarity test. There was no evidence of dropped calls. However, we experienced wavering voice clarity across the zone three, particularly with the ear-speaker and the loudspeaker. We also witnessed sound distortion at volumes higher than 50% with the loudspeaker, during the call clarity test. The handsfree headset delivered good voice clarity across all the zones. However, the stereo headset lacked dynamic bass boost resulting in mediocre sound reproduction during the music test. The loudspeaker delivered better sound reproduction compared to the headphones, with good bass and treble balance; however, the sound distorted at volumes higher than 50%. The Bluetooth transfer test yielded impressive result. The captured photo colour and image clarity had satisfactory results. However, the captured video clarity was poor resulting in pixelated artefacts throughout the recording. We experienced blurry images sans 3D effect while testing the pre-installed 3D images and videos, which indicated the shortcomings of the auto-stereoscopic display. Finally, the only big plus has been the excellent video playback without stuttering of any sort.
