For the features that it offers, the Corsair Carbide 100R Silent edition is slightly pricey as compared to the competition but If you're looking to build a silent PC in a budget with a decent build quality and good thermal performance, you can't go wrong with it.
Installation inside the 100R Silent was easy but we must say that although the case has enough cable routing holes, working inside it can be quite restrictive at times because of its size. There are two versions of the 100R – one standard and the other silent and so, the standard version (available for Rs.3,999) features the addition of a side-panel window and top fan mounts while the Silent one doesn’t. This somewhat limits the cooling options with the silent version but it pays off when you talk about its excellent noise performance.
Cooling performance was at par with other contenders in this price range as it maintained a temperature of 35°C at full load. The 100R Silent does exactly what it advertises but if you aren’t bothered much about fan noise, then there are much cheaper alternatives like the Thermaltake Versa H21.
