Overall the X100 is impressive and the price point is attractive. All of these factors make it a Digit recommended purchase. If at all we have a problem with the X100, it would have to do with its fea-ture set. Few more useful features such as the ability to daisychain other X100s would’ve been great.
The build is also pretty sturdy. We didn’t really drop test it but it looks like a device that can certainly withstand a few drops. In terms of performance it’s one of the better speakers we’ve tested in this form factor and price bracket. One of the biggest pluses was that while it’s loud, the speaker doesn’t overdrive its driver to the point of distortion. The speaker doubles up as a conference call device and the microphone quality is decent. The five hour battery life claim isn’t far fetched.
