Xiaomi to host Mi Fan Festival on April 6
The Mi Fan Festival will celebrate Xiaomi’s sixth birthday and during the festival, the company will debut the Mi 5 and new accessories in India
Xiaomi will be hosting a Mi Fan Festival on April 6 to celebrate its sixth birthday. During the day-long festival, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available for purchase for the first time India, along with other Mi accessories like the 20,000mAH Mi Power Bank, Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro, Mi LED Light Enhanced, and Mi USB Cable. Xiaomi will also be offering discounts and offers on their current products during the festival.

To celebrate Xiaomi’s sixth birthday on 6 April, 2016, Mi India is hosting Mi Fan festival on Mi.com, offering an exciting array of new products and special discounts. Xiaomi’s latest flagship Mi 5 will make its debut, while the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank and other accessories will also go on sale for the first time.
Exciting offers at Mi Fan festival
Mi 5 – Launch sale: Announced on 31 March, Mi 5 will be making its debut in India on 6 April. It will go sale on Mi.com at 11 am,2 pm and 5 pm. It is the first smartphone in India to be powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 820 processor. It also features a 5.15-inch full-HD display, 16 MP camera with 4-axis OIS, 3D glass body made from Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4, 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB UFS 2.0 internal storage.
Redmi Note 3: Launched last month, Redmi Note 3 is the first smartphone in India powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 650 processor and packed with a 4050mAh battery that can last over a full day on a single charge. It is also Xiaomi’s first-ever Redmi with a metal body as well as a fingerprint sensor. Redmi Note 3 will be available for sale on April 6th on Mi.com at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. The 16GB variant will be available in all three colours and the 32GB variant will be available in gold and grey.
Mi Accessories: Consumers can also get their hands on newly-launched Mi accessories as listed below.
- Mi Power Bank: The 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank will go on sale for the first time, priced at Rs 1,699. It features nine layers of circuit chip protection powered by Texas Instruments and up to 93 per cent conversion rate. The power bank will be available for sale at 11am, 2 pm and 5 pm.
- Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro: Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro feature a hybrid balanced armature and dynamic driver for richer treble and deeper bass. Designed for a rich music experience, they will go on sale for Rs 1, 399.
- Mi LED Light Enhanced: This portable LED light is now 50 per cent brighter and is quite handy on the go. The Mi LED Light Enhanced will be available at Rs 249.
- Mi USB Cable: The 120cm Mi USB cable will be available for purchase at Rs 149.
