LG Launches X Screen smartphone in India for Rs. 12,990

We recently saw a dual camera setup on the LG G5 and now LG has launched the X Screen today, which features a dual-display setup. The smartphone basically has two displays, with one bigger main display and a smaller secondary display. The main display is a 4.93-inch IPS panel offering a resolution of 720p. The secondary display on the phone rests above the main display, is just 1.73-inch in size and has a resolution of 80 x 520p. The secondary display of the phone is an always on panel and is quite useful as it is able to showcase notifications, without turning on the main display. Further, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, which is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. At the rear, the device features a 13MP rear camera and at the front, the LG X Screen sports an 8MP camera. The device will go on sale from July 20 and will be via Snapdeal.

LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) announced the launch of its latest 4G LTE smartphone, LG X Screen in India. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Snapdeal from 20 th July 2016. This is for the first time that LG has decided to sell a smartphone exclusively via the ecommerce route. LG X Screen also features a panic button feature which is in line with the Government of India’s initiative in this regard.

The X screen comes with Two Screens, a unique feature which is developed solely basis user convenience and experience. The Always-on Display allows users to check basic information such as time, date and notifications without having to wake up the phone. More so, the second screen keeps the recent used user applications for easy access along with facility to receive calls without interruptions on the main screen and so does music play with all controls on top screen, for extreme convenience to users. The X screen’s look is complemented by the crystal-clear glass fiber material that covers the back. The curved edges on its sides create a simple yet elegant design.
