The HTC U Play will be available exclusively Amazon and will be available at zero cost EMI for a limited period.
After the rather large U Ultra smartphone, HTC has launched today a new U series smartphone called the U Play. The 5.2-inch device is considerably smaller than the Ultra, but follows the same glass and metal construction. HTC calls it the “3D Contoured liquid surface”. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, which is clubbed with 4GB of RAM. It features 64GB of storage, which can be expanded using microSD cards of up to to 2TB. On the optics front, there is a 16MP camera at the rear which is aided by OIS and is supported by PDAF. The front facing camera is also a 16MP unit and has auto-HDR. There is a 2500mAh battery on the phone and it is running on Android 6.0 with HTC’s Sense UI on top. The HTC U Play is priced at Rs. 29,990 and will be available exclusively via Amazon India.
