- Performance figures are based on the average percentage improvement of DS920+ relative to its predecessor, as tested at Synology labs. Responsiveness improvement measured by Web PHP response efficiency and compute performance improvement measured using file indexing in Synology Drive and photo indexing in Synology Moments. Performance gains may vary depending on the environment, type of usage, and configuration.
- Two M.2 NVMe 2280 cache slots are available on DS920+, DS720+, and DS420+.
- The capacity of DS920+ and DS720+ can be expanded using a Synology DX517 Expansion Unit, purchased separately.
- 5-year warranty is available as an optional bundle with EW201, a 2-year Extended Warranty service add-on.
