HTC’s VR headset, the HTC Vive, which was made in collaboration with Valve, has won the “Best hardware (incl. Peripheral category)” award at Gamescom 2015. The HTC Vive was launched earlier this year alongside the HTC One M9 at Mobile World Congress. The VR headset might get a release date in November of this year. Valve has already released an OpenVR SDK (Software Development Kit) to help developers develope games and content for the VR. Game developer, Epic Games, has already shown interest and announced its support for the technology.
