Hero Electric says that the Lithium battery technology used in the scooters would give around five years of petrol free ride

Hero Electric has launched its entire range of high-density Lithium battery Electric Scooters in India. The company says that the Lithium battery technology used in the scooters would not only give around five years of petrol free ride, but also allows for home charging and 30 minutes top up charging. Hero Electric has also partnered with Paytm to offer a Rs. 10,000 discount on the Optima Li-Ion Deluxe Scooter. This is over the Rs. 17,000 subsidy given by the Indian Government on E-scooters. Bookings for the scooter start on September 25 on Paytm. Another Lithium Ion scooter unveiled by the company is the Nyx Lithium. The scooter has a split seat that can double as a backrest. The Nyx Lithium has priced at Rs. 48,090 Uttar Pradesh.

Optima booking will starts on 25th September on the online portal of Paytm where the buyer can pay the booking amount of Rs.15000 and avail this special discount.
