With the launch of our end-to-end OTT solution and Android-based Hybrid Set Top Box, we intend to bring the cable operators back in the mix and enable them to offer more enhanced and digital services, without significant overheads. It is equally exciting for us to partner with 7Star and make our solution available with one amongst India’s largest MSO network. As the cable operators prepare for the wave of digitalization spreading across the nation, we are hopeful that our offering will play a key role in making them present- and future-ready.”

Echoing a similar thought, Raja Devendran, Director, 7Star added, “At present, cable TV operators are facing stiff competition from the burgeoning OTT platforms. Lower internet data rates and a shift to premium OTT apps by millennials is driving the need to provide a solution that can deliver both, the traditional TV channels via DTH or satellite and video content and personal multimedia features through the internet. To the same end, it became necessary for us to upgrade our existing cable TV network with android hybrid boxes. We are glad to have found the right technology partners in YuppTV and are affirmative our network of users would appreciate the latest upgrade in service offering.”
