Apart from that, the design remains the same as that of Xiaomi Band 7 and perhaps there may be some similarities in features too.

Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Specs and Features

The Xiaomi Band 8 could have an oval-pill design for the body and a 1.62-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a pixel density of 326ppi and with a resolution of 192 × 490 pixels. Xiaomi Band 7 offers over 100 watch faces and has always on display feature which may get carried over to Band 8.

The Xiaomi fitness tracker comes with a constant monitoring heart rate system that keeps a tab on optical heart rate and with a blood oxygen sensor that tracks blood oxygen saturation, sleep, and female health. The band enables steps and calories tracking and propagates 120 workout modes, which cover outdoor and indoor running, cycling, among others. We can also predict similar detailed fitness stats such as training load, training effect, and recovery time for the model.

The Mi band 8’s predecessor had a 180mAh battery which could sustain for 15 days on a single charge. The band comes with a magnetic charger that takes up to 2 hours to charge. The band dimensions are 46.5 × 20.7 × 12.25mm and it is quite lightweight on the wrist weighing around 13.5 grams. The band also offers control functions for music, camera, notifications and much more. A feature that’s in demand is onboard GPS for the device however, the brand has secured that elite feature for its premium ‘Pro’ range as Xiaomi Band 7 Pro had that.
