New leaks sharing key details of the unreleased Mi Band 6 have surfaced online. Xiaomi's fitness-centric wearable Mi Band is quite popular in the budget segment and going by the leaked details, the Mi Band 6 will possibly follow the same trajectory.

The Mi Band 6 is said to retain all the useful features of the Mi Band 5 and top it up with new tools and some visual improvements. A user named MagicalUnicorn has been sharing details of the Mi Band 6 on Geekdoing forum. In the firmware code, the source found the words ‘Mi Band 6’' and also, the CMIIT ID registration number that has passed the China Radio Certification

The user claims that the band is codenamed "Pangu" and will come in two variants – XMSH16HM and XMSH16HM. It appears the former will be a model with NFC limited and the latter won't give NFC. The variant with NFC is said to be China-only and the other would be released in both the China and global markets.

Everything we know about the Mi Band 6

The latest details of the Mi Band 6 come from the data spotted inside the Zepp (companion app owned by Huami) app code. The commands found in the firmware revealed that the band will come with in-built Alexa voice assistant and a SpO2 sensor to measure blood oxygen.

The code also shows that the bracelet will also inherit the previous generation product to support function. The Mi Band 6 may seemingly have a larger display than of the Mi Band 5's 1.1-inch. That's because the leaked watchfaces for the Mi Band 6 have a higher resolution than those found on its predecessor.

User 'MagicalUnicorn' also discovered that the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 could arrive with up to 30 activity modes compared to only 11 found on the Mi Band 5.

Apart from these details, a set of icon pack was also shared that shows support for some new apps. You can check out all the leaked assets by going to the source link mentioned below.
