WWDC is just round the corner, and we are aware that a lot of new gadgets will be revealed by Apple at the event. With that there are also reveals that the Apple WatchOS 10 will be coming with significant differences in the software.
This update can be considered as one of the greatest changes in the lineup of Apple Watch lineup since their launch in 2015. So, let's look into the updates that have been suggested.
So, according to the reveals the Apple Watch will be bringing back widgets, which will have the old Glances system along with the widgets that will be coming in with the iOS 14. The users will be able to go through and get information with the help of these widgets instead of keeping multiple tabs or apps open at once.
These Apple Watch widgets will also come in with features like activity tracking, weather, stock tickets, calendar and so on. This will come up as an overlay for the Watch faces. Also, there are rumours that users can access widgets by pressing the Digital Crown which presently just takes them back to the home screen.
The reveal also gives hints at an AI-powered health coach which will be later introduced in the coming year. But this will be included in the smartwatches and iPhones and this AI-backed service I'll also indulge in personalised wellness plans.
These updates are believed to come in with the Apple Watch and some soon after its release. With that also the iOS 17 is coming and hopefully the Watches will be compatible with the upcoming operating system. But earlier there was a hint about blood pressure monitoring on Apple devices, but apparently it has come to a pause and is predicted to arrive by 2025.
