Mobvoi has launched the TicWatch Pro 5 in India. It has a round dial, an AMOLED screen, up to 80 hours of battery life, and claims to offer “the latest version of Wear OS”. However, we are still concerned. Here is why.
TicWatch Pro 5 boots Wear OS 3.5 and claims to have the latest Wear OS by Google. Well, Google recently launched the Wear OS 4 at the IO 2023 event.

TicWatch Pro 5 runs on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is a 628mAh battery that is rated to run for 80 hours (standby time) between charges. You get fast charging support that claims to fill 65 percent in 30 minutes.
On the front, it has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with 466×466 pixel resolution, an always-on mode, an ultra-low-power mode, and Gorilla Glass protection. The watch comes with a silicone strap.
