Mobvoi has added a new member to its wearable portfolio in India with the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS. From the name, you can guess that it has built-in GPS connectivity and is also a spec bump over the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. That doesn’t mean there aren’t similarities here. The company has borrowed the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform and Wear OS 2.6 software from the predecessor. The upgrade to Wear OS 3 may happen sooner than later as this is one of the smartwatches slated to receive the update.
TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS rocks a 1.4-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 resolution and 326 PPI pixel density. There is Gorilla Glass protection on top with a smudge-resistant finish. Speaking of which, the watch is IP68 rated against dust and water.
As already mentioned, the underlying processor is Snapdragon Wear 4100 with Wear OS 2.6 on top. The performance is also aided by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
A 577mAh cell keeps the lights on. You can toggle between the given Smart Mode (up to 72 hours) and Essential Mode (up to 45 days) for performance and efficiency respectively. Also, the backlighting of the watch can be managed using the brand’s mobile app on the paired phone. With such a battery inside, the wristwatch weighs about 41 grams.
As for the feature set, you are getting GPS (of course, it’s in the name), Bluetooth 5, WiFi, over 100 workout modes, a mic, a speaker, and a vibration motor. You can pick this TicWatch in a solo Black colour.
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS can be bought in India at ₹29,999 through Amazon and the company’s website.
