These wearables will let you answer calls directly from your wrist

How many times do you fish your phone out of the pocket just to see who is calling or why your device just vibrated? That is where a smartwatch comes into play. The core requirement of a smartwatch is reducing the dependency that we have on our smartphones. It allows us to receive calls and notifications, without the need to reach out for our smartphones every time. However, while almost every wearable in the market lets you check out notifications, not all let you answer calls. Here’s a look at four wearables on Amazon that let you answer calls directly from your wrist.

Amazfit Verge

The Amazfit Verge offers users an affordable way to get a wearable that can be used to answer calls. The device packs a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 360×360 pixels. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass, which should ensure that the screen is resistant to cracking. The wearable packs a 390mAH battery, which Amazfit claims is enough for five days of battery life. The wearable also offers a range of fitness-centric features and lets you monitor your heart rate, sleep, steps and more. It can also track 12 activities like running, walking, elliptical trainer, tennis, and more.

Apple Watch Series 5

One of the coolest features of the GPS+Celluar version of the Apple Watch Series 5 is the fact that you don’t even have to carry your phone with you. Thanks to the eSIM, the wearable can stay connected, without the need to stay tethered to your smartphone. Other features of the wearable include an always-on Retina display, which should allow users to check out the time, without the need to manually wake up the device. The Apple Watch Series 5 is also swim-proof and can track ECG.

Samsung Galaxy Watch

The Samsung Galaxy Watch also comes with a microphone and a speaker, allowing you to answer calls directly from the device. One of the most notable features of the wearable is the rotating bezel, that makes navigation through the menus easier. The device features an always-on Super AMOLED display and packs a built-in GPS. The latter is quite helpful for those who run or jog as this will allow for more accurate route tracking. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Watch can offer a battery life of 80 hours on Bluetooth and 24 hours with GPS on.

Huawei Watch GT 2

The Huawei Watch GT 2 promises a two-week-long battery life, which is quite impressive. The company claims that this is made possible by the Kirin A1 chipset that the company developed. The new chipset is said to offer high performance with low power consumption. Other features of the wearable include a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and support for GPS and GLONASS. The wearable can also track a range of activities including swimming, cycling, elliptical trainers and more.
