Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatches with WearOS have launched in India

This is a 42mm dial watch with different material and color choices.

Skagen has brought its Falster Gen 6 range of smartwatches to India and if they look familiar, then that’s because they are nothing but Fossil Gen 6 with some facelift. All watches are of 42mm dial size and are running on Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform with WearOS 2 software. Let’s know about its WearOS 3 status among other details.

Skagen Falster Gen 6 Specs and Features

Skagen Falster can be bought in silver-tone, black, and charcoal case colorways coupled with stainless steel mesh, silicone, and leather strap options.

The case measures 42mm diagonally and has got a 1.28-inch AMOLED screen on top. The touch based interactions would be on WearOS 2 software. You also get a rotating crown and two buttons on the right side for navigation and selections.

Fossil has promised the Skagen Falster Gen 6 will be updated to WearOS 3 in 2022 itself. 

At the core of it, there is Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chip paired with 1GB RAM, and 8GB of storage. The claimed battery life is up to 24 hours. You get a magnetic USB charger to top up the thing. There is support for rapid charging at up to about 80% juice in 30 minutes.

As for health and fitness features, the Falster Gen 6 packs in sensors like PPG heart rate, SpO2, and Off-body IR. You can download from a boatload of choice from the WearOS app store. 

Among various other things, you also get Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, GPS, NFC SE, and up to 3ATM water resistance.
