Earlier this year, Samsung ushered in the era of mobile AI with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, committing to introduce Galaxy AI across a broader array of devices. True to this promise, Samsung has now announced that it will integrate Galaxy AI into the Galaxy Watch.

With the Energy Score feature, you will be able to get a deeper understanding of your daily condition through a comprehensive analysis of personal health metrics, including sleep time average, sleep time consistency, bed/wake time consistency, sleep timing, previous day’s activity, sleeping heart rate, and heart rate variability. This helps you better prepare for your day.

Samsung is also enhancing its sleep AI algorithm to deliver more in-depth sleep insights. The newly added sleep indicators in Sleep Insights provide a detailed and accurate analysis of your sleep quality, helping you better understand your sleep patterns and build healthier habits. These additional metrics include movement during sleep, sleep latency, heart rate, and respiratory rate during sleep, complementing the previously supported metrics such as snoring hours, blood oxygen level, and sleep cycle.

The Personalized Health Rate Zone will now include detailed Aerobic Threshold (AT) and Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) heart rate metrics for efficient running and quick performance analysis. Cyclists can calculate Functional Threshold Power (FTP) metrics in just 10 minutes and use a personalised power index to maximise performance.

The new Workout Routine lets you combine exercises for a personalised workout and transition seamlessly between them. The Race feature keeps you motivated by comparing your current and past performance on the same routes.

Availability

All these new features will be available on the next Galaxy Watch line-up via One UI 6 Watch, available later this year. Also, a limited number of Galaxy Watch users will have early access to the beta program starting in June.
